International Children's Day

Every year, on June 1st, International Children's Day is celebrated worldwide. This celebration is dedicated to children and their rights, inspiring us to ensure their well-being, protection, and freedom. International Children's Day motivates us to create a world where all children have the opportunity to fulfill their full potential.

Child rights are the central focus of this day, emphasizing children's rights to life, freedom, education, health, and protection from violence. Protecting children's rights requires a safe environment, access to quality education, and protection from abuse.

Recognizing the importance of children's rights and child protection, Ivančica d.d. actively participated in the cycle of UNICEF's CSR Academy titled "Children are our most important business." This lecture series was dedicated to special topics related to child rights and business.

Understanding the importance of children's rights and child protection, Ivančica d.d. participated in the cycle of UNICEF's CSR Academy "Children are our most important business." The lectures of this cycle focused on special topics related to child rights and business, such as child-friendly and family-friendly workplaces, the role of employers in encouraging greater involvement of fathers in child care and upbringing, responsible marketing and advertising towards children, the impact of ICT technologies and digital business on children, EU regulatory frameworks related to corporate sustainability reporting, and more.

May International Children's Day serve as a reminder of our responsibility to create a world where every child can grow up happily, enjoy the rights they have, and fulfill their dreams.
